It was a great product worked as intended. Got here quickly. Five stars
Had an odd size tilting mechanism to replace. With this unit i was able to drill holes in the base plate to match my chair. Worked perfectly. Very happy.
Seems like this is the place for Pottery Barn chair repairs! Sifted through many swivel chair replacement part companies online, and finally found eChairParts. Order came quick (and free delivery unlike other companies I came across) and was easy to assemble. I was looking at a chair cylinder as well and wasn't sure if it would fit, so I called eChairParts and the representative assured it would fit and even gave the model of the cylinder to correctly order. You do have to get longer screws as the ones from Pottery Barn won't fit due to the plywood but I was prepared due to the representative letting me know in advance. Hope I don't run into issues again with my Pottery Barn chair, but if I do, I'll order from here again! Thanks!
Product is as advertised. SP-47 control works well once installed. Extra 1/2" Plywood is fabric covered. For my chair, once I lined up front and back holes on plywood plate on right with the holes under seat on the right side, I had to drill new holes on left side under the seat through the left side pre-drilled holes on the plywood. SP-47 mounting is precise onto the plywood plate. I needed to get longer bolts to mount the plywood plate to the underside of the chair - easy at my local hardware store. Screws and washers are included to mount SP-47 to the plywood plate. David was very responsive to all questions - including removal of my old gas cylinder from my 5 star base. Thank you.
Could not get the part from the chair manufacturer, but echair had made one that fit perfect. It also appears stronger than the original assembly
After too many years, my Pottery Barn chair broke. Not wanting to spend $1500 on a new chair, I looked for replacement parts. After a few purchases from other companies, I was finally able to get exactly want I needed to complete my restoration. Saved myself so much money. Thank you!
Search multiple sites for this replacement part, but all the dimensions were not right. Found eChairParts.com...and they had the exact fit. The quality of this replacement part was better than the original...and it made the repair of my expensive chair a "breeze"...thanks eChairParts.com
Product matches description and appears to be of good quality. Time will tell.
Excellent service on an expensive chair I feared was bound for the dump. Answered my questions and provided parts needed to save chair.
